April. 12, 2012) - Four members of the St. Joseph County, IN Democrat Party and their assistants were charged today with "multiple" felonies" for allegedly placing forged signatures on petitions to place Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the primary ballot in the Hoosier State in 2008.
The South Bend Tribune was the first media outlet to report the wrongdoing, which was discovered by a 22-year-old college student, Ryan Nees. Other than Fox News, the mainstream media appears to be silent on the matter.
The St. Joseph County Democrat Party chairman, Butch Morgan, was arrested, jailed and released on $10,000 bond. Morgan resigned from his position last October after claims of the forged signatures surfaced. The signatures appeared to have been taken from a petition for a candidate for governor. A former Indiana governor stated that the signature of his name on the 2008 Democrat primary petitions was not his. Others reacted in a similar fashion.
In December 2011, the Indiana Secretary of State, Charles White, also the head of elections, was ousted amidst criminal charges of voter fraud and a civil suit brought by the Indiana Democrat Party. White's election was "decertified" and the position given temporarily to the runner-up in the 2010 election. At issue with White's election was whether or not he was eligible to serve because of his residency. On March 16, 2012, Connie Lawson was appointed by Gov. Mitch Daniels to fill the vacancy left by White.
White's trial on seven felony counts began at the end of January. In its opinion, which reversed the decision of the Elections Commission, the court "held that in order to satisfy Indiana's eligibility requirements the candidate must be lawfully registered."
Another complaint of voter fraud in Indiana is being investigated in Johnson County involving police officers. The complaint alleges that the county sheriff and prosecutor knew of the fraud but did not act for political reasons.
In the fall of 2008, Media Matters said that the attention placed on possible election fraud was "invented" by "conservatives" and that allegations of voter fraud "have largely proven baseless." At the same time, CNN was reporting that "thousands" of voter registration forms had been forged in Indiana specifically by members of the organization ACORN, with which Barack Hussein Obama had reportedly been closely associated, even though his campaign website claimed the opposite.
One writer stated, "Nevertheless, Barack Obama's campaign website continues to lie and deny the truth about his involvement and association with ACORN. No matter how many times you say it, it does not make it true. The facts do not lie, Senator Obama. It's time to come clean and tell the truth, and it's time for the American people to demand it."
Members of ACORN had pleaded guilty to fraud during the 2008 election cycle in Nevada.
A well-known online journal suggested that Obama "has had an intimate and long-term association with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn), the largest radical group in America." However, the same publication published a denigrating opinion piece with an unnamed author about Sheriff Joe Arpaio, whose Cold Case Posse has determined that the long-form birth certificate purported to belong to Barack Hussein Obama is a "computer-generated forgery."
If Obama's birth certificate is a forgery, then the signatures of his alleged parents are forgeries. What would the penalty be for the putative President of the United States and commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces to present "fake" documentation to U.S. citizens and the rest of the world? |
