A recent study conducted by a German university found very high concentrations of glyphosate, a carcinogenic chemical found in herbicides like Monsanto’s Roundup, in all urine samples tested.

The amount of glyphosate found in the urine was staggering, with each sample containing concentrations at 5- to 20-fold the limit established for drinking water.

This is just one more piece of evidence that herbicides are, at the very least, being sprayed out of control.

Glyphosate in Monsanto’s Roundup Impacting Global Health
This news comes only one month after it was found that glyphosate, contained in Monsanto’s Roundup, is contaminating the groundwater in the areas in which it is used. What does this mean?

It means that toxic glyphosate is now polluting the world’s drinking water through the widespread contamination of aquifers, wells and springs. The recent reports of glyphosate showing up in all urine samples only enhances these past findings.

Monsanto continues to make the claim that their Roundup products are completely safe for both animals and humans. However, many environmentalists, scientists , activists, and even doctors say otherwise.

Glyphosate radically affects the metabolism of plants in a negative way. It is a systemic poison preventing the formation of essential amino acids, leading to weakened plants which ultimately die from it.

A formula seems to have been made to not only ruin the agricultural system, but also compromise the health of millions of people worldwide. With the invention of Monsanto’s Roundup Ready crops, resistant superweeds are taking over farmland, and public health is being attacked.

As it turns out, glyphosate is also leaving behind its residue on Roundup Ready crops, causing further potential concern for public health. Glyphosate is even contributing to escalating rates of mental illness and obesity through the depletion of beneficial gut flora that directly regulates these functions.

But it certainly doesn’t stop there.

Researchers tested roundup on mature male rats at a concentration range between 1 and 10,000 parts per million (ppm), and found that within 1 to 48 hours of exposure, testicular cells of the mature rats were either damaged or killed. Even at a concentration of 1 ppm, the Roundup was able to affect the test subjects by decreasing their testosterone concentrations by as much as 35%.

OBAMA ELIGIBILITY COURT CASE…BLOW BY BLOW

Given the testimony from today’s court case in Georgia, Obama has a lot of explaining to do. His attorney, Jablonski, was a NO SHOW as of course, was Obama.

The following is a nutshell account of the proceedings.

Promptly at 9am EST, all attorneys involved in the Obama Georgia eligibility case were called to the Judge’s chambers. This was indeed a very interesting beginning to this long awaited and important case.

The case revolved around the Natural Born clause of the Constitution and whether or not Obama qualifies under it to serve. More to the point, if found ineligible, Obama’s name would not appear on the 2012 ballot in Georgia.

With the small courtroom crowded, several in attendance could be seen fanning themselves with pamphlets as they waited for the return of the attorneys and the appearance of the judge.

Obama himself, who had been subpoenaed to appear, of course was nowhere near Georgia. Instead, Obama was on a campaign swing appearing in Las Vegas and in Colorado ignoring the court in Georgia.

Over the last several weeks, Obama’s attorney, Michael Jablonski, had attempted several tactics to keep this case from moving forward. He first tried to have it dismissed, then argued that it was irrelevant to Obama. After that, Jablonski argued that a state could not, under the law, determine who would or would not be on a ballot and later, that Obama was simply too busy with the duties of office to appear.

After all these arguments were dispatched by the Georgia Court, Jablonski, in desperation, wrote to the Georgia Secretary of State attempting to place Obama above the law and declared that the case was not to be heard and neither he nor his client would participate.

Secretary of State, Brian Kemp, fired back a letter hours later telling Jablonski he was free to abandon the case and not participate but that he would do so at his and his clients peril.

Game on.

5 minutes.

10 minutes.

15 minutes with the attorneys in the judge’s chambers.

20 minutes.

It appears Jablonski is not in attendance as the attorneys return, all go to the plaintiff table 24 minutes after meeting in the judge’s chambers.

Has Obama’s attorney made good on his stated threat not to participate? Is he directly ignoring the court’s subpoena? Is he placing Obama above the law? It seems so. Were you or I subpoenaed to appear in court, would we or our attorney be allowed such action or, non action?

Certainly not.

Court is called to order.

Obama’s birth certificate is entered into evidence.

Obama’s father’s place of birth, Kenya East Africa is entered into evidence.

Pages 214 and 215 from Obama’s book, “Dreams from My Father” entered into evidence. Highlighted. This is where Obama indicates that, in 1966 or 1967 that his father’s history is mentioned. It states that his father’s passport had been revoked and he was unable to leave Kenya.

Immigration Services documents entered into evidence regarding Obama Sr.

June 27th, 1962, is the date on those documents. Obama’s father’s status shown as a non citizen of the United States. Documents were gotten through the Freedom of Information Act.

Testimony regarding the definition of Natural Born Citizen is given citing Minor vs Happersett opinion from a Supreme Court written opinion from 1875. The attorney points out the difference between “citizen” and “Natural Born Citizen” using charts and copies of the Minor vs Happersett opinion.

It is also pointed out that the 14th Amendment does not alter the definition or supersede the meaning of Natural Born. It is pointed out that lower court rulings do not conflict with the Supreme Court opinion nor do they over rule the Supreme Court Minor vs Happersett opinion.

The point is, to be a natural born citizen, one must have 2 parents who, at the time of the birth in question, be citizens of the United States. As Obama’s father was not a citizen, the argument is that Obama, constitutionally, is ineligible to serve as President.

Judge notes that as Obama nor his attorney is present, action will be taken accordingly.

Carl Swinson takes the stand.

Testimony is presented that the SOS has agreed to hear this case, laws applicable, and that the DNC of Georgia will be on the ballot and the challenge to it by Swinson.

2nd witness, a Mr. Powell, takes the stand and presents testimony regarding documents of challenge to Obama’s appearance on the Georgia ballot and his candidacy.

Court records of Obama’s mother and father entered into evidence.

Official certificate of nomination of Obama entered into evidence.

RNC certificate of nomination entered into evidence.

DNC language does NOT include language stating Obama is Qualified while the RNC document DOES. This shows a direct difference trying to establish that the DNC MAY possibly have known that Obama was not qualified.

Jablonski letter to Kemp yesterday entered into evidence showing their desire that these proceedings not take place and that they would not participate.

'Dreams From My Father' entered.

Mr. Allen from Tuscon, AZ sworn in.

Disc received from Immigration and Naturalization Service entered into evidence. This disc contains information regarding the status of Obama’s father received through the Freedom of Information Act.

This information states clearly that Obama’s father was NEVER a U.S. Citizen.

At this point, the judge takes a recess.

The judge returns.

David Farrar takes the stand.

Evidence showing Obama’s book of records listing his nationality as Indoneasan. Deemed not relevant by the judge.

Orly Taitz calls 2nd witness. Mr. Strump.

Enters into evidence a portion of letter received from attorney showing a renewal form from Obama’s mother for her passport listing Obama’s last name something other than Obama.

State Licensed PI takes the stand.

She was hired to look into Obama’s background and found a Social Security number for him from 1979. Professional opinion given that this number was fraudulent. The number used or attached to Obama in 1979, shows that Obama was born in the 1890. This shows that the number was originally assigned to someone else who was indeed born in 1890 and should never have been used by Obama.

Same SS number came up with addresses in IL, D.C. and MA.

Next witness takes the stand.

This witness is an expert in information technology and photo shop. He testifies that the birth certificate Obama provided to the public is layered, multiple layered. This, he testifies, indicates that different parts of the certificate have been lifted from more than one original document.

Linda Jordan takes the stand.

Document entered regarding SS number assigned to Obama. SS number is not verified under E Verify. It comes back as suspected fraudulent. This is the system by which the Government verifies ones citizenship.

Next witness.

Mr. Gogt.

Expert in document imaging and scanners for 18 years.

Mr. Gogt testifies that the birth certificate, posted online by Obama, is suspicious. States white lines around all the type face is caused by “unsharp mask” in Photoshop. Testifies that any document showing this, is considered to be a fraud.

States this is a product of layering.

Mr. Gogt testifies that a straight scan of an original document would not show such layering.

Also testifies that the date stamps shown on Obama documents should not be in exact same place on various documents as they are hand stamped. Obama’s documents are all even, straight and exactly the same indicating they were NOT hand stamped by layered into the document by computer.

Next witness, Mr. Sampson a former police officer and former immigration officer specializing in immigration fraud.

Ran Obama’s SS number through database and found that the number was issued to Obama in 1977 in the state of MA. Obama never resided in MA. At the time of issue, Obama was living in Hawaii.

Serial number on birth certificate is out of sequence with others issued at that hospital. Also certification is different than others and different than twins born 24 hours ahead of Obama.

Mr. Sampson also states that portion of documents regarding Mr. Sotoroe, who adopted Obama have been redacted which is highly unusual with regards to immigration records.

Suggests all records from Social Security, Immigration, Hawaii birth records be made available to see if there are criminal charges to be filed or not. Without them, nothing can be ruled out.

Mr. Sampson indicates if Obama is shown not to be a citizen, he should be arrested and deported and until all records are released nobody can know for sure if he is or is not a U.S. Citizen.

Taitz shows records for Barry Sotoro aka Barack Obama, showing he resides in Hawaii and in Indonesia at the same time.

Taitz takes the stand herself.

Testifies that records indicate Obama records have been altered and he is hiding his identity and citizenship.

Taitz leave the stand to make her closing arguments.

Taitz states that Obama should be found, because of the evidence presented, ineligible to serve as President.

And with that, the judge closes the hearing.

What can we take away from this?

It’s interesting.

Now, all of this has finally been entered OFFICIALLY into court records.

One huge question is now more than ever before, unanswered.

WHO THE HELL IS THIS GUY?

Without his attorney present, Obama’s identity, his Social Security number, his citizenship status, and his past are all OFFICIALLY in question.

One thing to which there seems no doubt. He does NOT qualify, under the definition of Natural Born Citizen” provided by SCOTUS opinions, to be eligible to serve as President.

What will the judge decide? That is yet to be known, but it seems nearly impossible to believe, without counter testimony or evidence, because Obama and his attorney chose not to participate, that Obama will be allowed on the Georgia ballot.

It also opens the door for such cases pending or to be brought in other states as well.

Tyree Lincoln Smith was arrested Tuesday evening in Lynn Haven on a murder charge from Connecticut.

LYNN HAVEN — A man who allegedly killed and ate a homeless person traveled to Lynn Haven where he was arrested, Lynn Haven police said Wednesday.

Tyree Smith, 34, of Bridgeport, Conn., told a family member that he killed the victim with a hatchet, police wrote in a news release. Smith, who was covered in blood at the time, added that "after he bludgeoned the victim he took pieces of brain matter and his eye, which he consumed," police said.

After the confession, Smith took a bus and arrived Monday in Lynn Haven, where he stayed with a female friend, officials said. Investigators were able to locate Smith at 7 p.m. Tuesday night at an apartment on Illinois Avenue. The woman he was staying with "was unaware of Smith's actions and is cooperating in the investigation," officials wrote.

The Connecticut Post reported Smith is being charged in the death of Angel "Tun Tun" Gonzalez, 43.The newspaper reported Smith had gone to sleep on the back porch of a building, but Gonzalez later woke him and invited him in from the cold. Once in Gonzalez's apartment, Smith killed Gonzalez, according to an affidavit the newspaper obtained.

The Barack Obama administration is quietly in the process of rigging

use of the US Census of 2010, which deliberately counted millions of

illegal aliens, for the purpose of restructuring the apportionment of

the US House of Representatives.

Accordingly, as candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of one of the negatively affected states (Montana), Mr. Bob Fanning and I have joined with several others in becoming amici curiae in a pending federal lawsuit brought by the State of Louisiana against the US Secretary of Commerce, et al., which was filed January, 13, 2012 in the United States Supreme Court.

What has happened is, the US Census Bureau erroneously claims that it;

“‘is required by the U.S. Constitution count everyone living in

this country, regardless of immigration or citizenship status.’”

Accordingly, they have counted millions of illegal aliens in the 2010

Census and are using those figures to apportion the US House of

Representatives. If this egregious misinterpretation of the U.S.

Constitution is allowed to stand, five states (Louisiana, Missouri,

Montana, North Carolina, and Ohio) will lose representation in the US

Congress to which they are lawfully entitled, while three states

(California, Texas, and Florida) will be awarded additional

representation in the US Congress to which they are not lawfully

entitled. And, of course, this will also directly impact the makeup of

the Electoral College, which ultimately elects the President of the

United States.

Of course, this manipulation of the 2010 US Census also impacts the

election of the US President, as those states that are granted more

seats in the US Congress are also granted more votes in the Electoral College as the Electoral College is composed of a “Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives towhich the State may be entitled in the Congress. . . .” (Article.II. Section. I. Clause. 2. US Constitution). And, as everyone knows, under the US Constitution, it is the Electoral College that ultimately elects the President of the United States.

Thus, the states of Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, and Ohio, will be unjustly denied their lawful votes in the Electoral College, while California, Texas, and Florida, are being unjustly granted unlawful votes in the Electoral College. Would it not be extraordinary if the margin by which President Obama is re-elected in the Electoral College would be provided by the manipulation of the census data under his control? Again, this would be an outrage!

Every conspiring researcher who has studied the 9/11 scam and hoax knows about the shenanigans of Jewish billionaire Larry Silverstein. Silverstein bought the World Trade Center towers and buildings in 2001, just months before they came crashing down. The shrewd Silverstein had insured them twice, so that he would get paid double their market value if something happened to this expensive real estate. He was thus richly rewarded when the “19 Arab terrorists” (Not!) guided those passenger aircraft into the towers.

It was also Silverstein who admitted that he had given the order to “pull” (his term) building 7, another skyscraper in the World Trade Center complex. Building 7 had not been hit by an aircraft, and the fact that it imploded in a controlled demolition and crashed to the ground is proof positive that the whole 9/11 incident was an “inside job.”

As it turns out, Gingrich and Silverstein have a long history of—shall we say?—“special dealings.” In 1995, Congressman Newt Gingrich became Speaker of the House of Representatives.

That same year, Newt’s second wife, Marianne Gingrich, landed a plum job with a firm named the Israel Export Development Company (IEDC). Marianne, who had no business experience whatsoever and had previously been employed as an “image consultant” for a beauty cosmetics company, became IEDC’s Vice President.

Now IEDC just happened to be owned and run by Zionist billionaire Larry Silverstein, and so, Gingrich’s wife, Marianne, found herself working for Larry Silverstein. It was a miraculously good deal for a woman who knew absolutely nothing about international business and exports and had previously mainly dealt with how much make-up and cosmetics a woman should put on her face. You don’t suppose that her new, high paying job had anything at all to do with the fact that her influence peddling hubby was the powerful Speaker of the House of Representatives, do you?

The sticky wicket gets even stickier, however, when we discover that Silverstein’s IEDC is an offshoot of a pro-Israel lobby group called Advanced Strategic and Political Studies (IAPS), which, at the time Newt’s wife came on board as Vice President of IEDC, was linked with the Jewish neo-cons responsible for the lies and propaganda that propelled American troops into the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.

And things don’t stop there: sticky...sticky...sticky. Turns out that Marianne Gingrich’s job was to try to get American companies to move to Israel, and take all their jobs with them. How nice is that—more leveling of America and deconstructing of the American economy by the Zionist freaks? Worse even that that, another of Marianne’s assigned tasks was to work closely with yet another Israeli company, the Koret Israel Economic Development Fund, to place interns in key congressional offices.

Uh oh! Got that? Marianne Gingrich, wife of Newt, the man who held the most powerful office in the entire U.S. Congress, placed Jewish interns in key congressional offices. Can you pronounce the word, “Mossad?”

We know now that Monica Lewinsky was a White House intern whose placement was arranged by Israel. Such agents watch, monitor, report and perform various other “special duties.” Dossiers are built up, and Congressmen and other politicians one day find out they best vote for whatever or whoever is best for Israel—or else.

Gingrich himself must have quite a fat dossier sitting somewhere in a file cabinet—or stored in a computer, perhaps at AIPAC, ADL, or even in Israel. The lusty former Speaker left his first wife for his then office receptionist in the Capital, and that mistress was—Surprise!—Marianne. But then, Gingrich had yet another fling with a new chick, so he deserted Marianne for a younger woman, and now he’s married to this beautiful blonde, Callista. Oh yes, indeed, Gingrich has quite a history and dossier, and that’s just the guy’s sexual peccadilloes. One wonders what financial wonders lurk in that Mossad dossier.

To further enhance his role as Rothschild front man, Newt recently “converted” to Catholicism.

In February, 2010, some 500 Catholic millionaires, initiates of the Opus Dei affiliate, Legatus, met in Dana Point, California to honor Gingrich and former President and Jew/Catholic loyalist George W. Bush. Gingrich was lauded by the group for his conversion and even gave his “Christian testimony” regarding his leaving the Southern Baptist denomination to become a convert to “Holy Mother Church.” His new wife—his third—was on hand.

In the tiny town of Riva del Garda in northern Italy, 83-year-old-Maria Malacarne Santorum keeps her family's secrets - including those of her late husband’s cousin, Rick. In an exclusive interview with the Italian weekly magazine Oggi, Mrs. Santorum recalls fondly when Rick visited her in 1985 during his law internship in Florence, and when he came back again in 1986 and 1989. “He loved our culture and cuisine so much, he brought his wife-to-be, Karen, a massive cookbook of Italian recipes,” she said.

But the elder Santorum matriarch doesn’t understand why he has diverged so far from the family’s longtime political stance. “In Riva del Garda his grandfather Pietro and uncles were ‘red communists’ to the core,” writes Oggi journalist Giuseppe Fumagalli, likening the family to “Peppone” after a famous fictional Italian communist mayor who fought against an ultraconservative priest known as Don Cammillo and about which a popular television series is based. “But on the other side of the ocean, it’s like his family here doesn’t exist. Instead he draws crowds as the head of the ultraconservative faction of the Republican party, against divorce, gay marriage, abortion, and immigration.”

Those politics don’t play well in Riva del Garda, a community of ultraliberals. On the campaign trail, Santorum often touts his grandfather’s flight from Italy “to escape fascism,” but he has neglected to publicly mention their close ties with the Italian Communist Party. “Rick’s grandfather Pietro was a liberal man and he understood right away what was happening in Italy,” Mrs. Santorum told Oggi. “He was anti-fascist to the extreme, and the political climate in 1925 was stifling so he left for America. After a few years he returned to Italy with his wife and children, including Aldo, Rick’s father, who passed away late last year. It’s a shame he won’t have the joy to see his son’s success in his bid for the White House.” She goes on to explain how the family then became pillars of the Communist Party in Italy.

The Oggi piece also quotes an angry cousin who preferred to voice his dissent anonymously, remembering the time when high-ranking Communist Party members frequented the Santorum household in Riva del Garda. “There are Santorums who would roll over in their graves to hear [Rick’s] rhetoric,” he said.

Franklin Raines - Was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae, when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae's accounting activities. Raines left with a "golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the accounting scandal became clear.

Tim Howard - Was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard "was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a "stable pattern of earnings" at Fannie. Investigations by federal regulators and the company's board of directors since concluded, that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard's Golden Parachute was estimated at $20 Million!

Jim Johnson - A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. Investigators found that Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson's 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact it was $21 million." Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae. Johnson's Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

President Barack Obama is not the only VIP to be spending his holidays in exclusive islands in Hawaii.

While the president and his family are on a 17-day holiday vacation in beach front homes in Kailua, Oahu, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is spending her Christmas at the exotic Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu in Kona, reports the Hawaii Reporter.

The California Democrat's suite, which she has rented for the past two Christmases, room goes for a whopping $10,000 a night. Pelosi has been escorted by local police during her two visits, at a cost of $34,000 to local taxpayers, the Reporter says.

Pelosi reportedly spent Christmas Eve at midnight Mass in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona.

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai’s website touts the appointed grounds thusly: “Gloriously revitalized, this natural tropical paradise offers more than ever to explore — with a newly expanded Spa, beachfront dining, fashion boutiques and new Deluxe Suites, in addition to Jack Nicklaus signature golf. Set on the Big Island’s exclusive Kona-Kohala Coast, this showpiece resort captures the essence of Hawaiian design, culture and tradition.”

Pelosi has many friends in Hawaii, including Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie, whom she supported during his successful campaign for governor in 2010.

Paul continues flooding Iowa and N.H. airwaves with TV ads

(CNN) - A new, slick, movie trailer style TV commercial by Rep. Ron Paul that takes shots at some of his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination hits the airwaves Tuesday in the first two states to hold contests in the primary and caucus calendar.

In the ad, titled "The One," Washington, D.C. is described as "a lost city" which focuses on "failed policies, failed leadership" and then presents the longtime congressman from Texas, who's making his third bid for the White House, as the only GOP presidential candidate that "has stood apart, stood strong and true," adding that Paul has stood "up to the Washington machine, guided by principle."

The Paul campaign says that the 60-second spot, which is an update of an earlier Paul commercial, will run on broadcast and cable TV in Iowa and New Hampshire. The ad's release comes two weeks before the Iowa caucuses, the first contest in the road to the nomination, and three weeks before the New Hampshire primary, which is the second contest.

While the narrator in the ad doesn't name Paul's rival candidates by name, an image of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is seen with the caption "insider deals" and an image of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, along with an image of President Barack Obama, appears under the caption "smooth-talking politicians." Quick images of Texas Gov. Rick Perry and Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota also appear, with Perry grouped with Sen. Harry Reid, the top Senate Democrat, and Bachman teamed with Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the top Democrat in the House, under the caption "games of he said, she said."

The campaign says the updated spot is part of a multi-million dollar ad campaign in Iowa and New Hampshire. Paying for the buy may not be too much of a problem, thanks to an infusion of what the campaign says was over $4 million in fund raising since this past weekend.

With so much going on in the world today, one can see how easy it would be to get confused. Are those pictures of the war in Iraq or Afghanistan? Poverty in Somalia or Congo? And what’s a news program to do if there aren’t any good pictures?

Yes, there are mass protests in Russia. Have been, since election day on Sunday. Thousands have been gathering to speak their mind and protest the election results. Yes, hundreds have been arrested. For two days in a row, and for various violations. Yes, there are reports of police brutality and no; right now it’s not possible to say whether they are true. It really does depend on the cops – much as it does anywhere else in the world. In New York, for example, some police officers will look the other way when you are filming somewhere you technically shouldn’t be; and others will detain you outside the United Nations building for no reason and refuse you your rights (and yes, all this did happen). Cops in Moscow are the same – some are nicer than others, while some appear to be almost looking for a fight.

Regardless of all this – yes, there are protests. But this, my friends, is NOT them.

About a year ago, we discussed the very troubling moves by insolvent countries such as Ireland and Hungary to "raid" their pensions funds for various fungible purposes, a move which in virtually every way a was a progenitor to the MF Global capital commingling, if not outright bankruptcy, and was explained as reflecting "a willingness by governments to use long-term assets to fill short-term deficits, including Ireland’s announcement last week that it would use the country’s €24bn National Pensions Reserve Fund “to support the exchequer’s funding programme” and Hungary’s bid to claw $15bn of private pension funds back to the state system." While it was unclear precisely what the use of funds was, back then FN speculated that it pension funds were being tapped to boost sovereign debt bids.

Which if true means that Europe's peripheral pensioners have seen about a 20% drop in the NPV of their retirement assets. Today we add Portugal to the list of countries committing an MF Global type crime on a global scale: the Telegraph writes: "Portugal has raided €5.6bn (£4.8bn) of pension fund assets in a controversial scramble to meet its deficit targets." And since the money is once again implicitly and explicitly used to patch broken fiscal models, it is as good as gone. Which in a paradoxical way is almost welcome, as the true Arab Spring will not come to Europe (and America) until the citizens don't read, in clear writing, that their welfare state entitlement benefits are gone.... They are all gone. And at that point there will be truly nothing left to lose.

PepsiCo Shareholder Resolution filed over use of aborted fetal cell lines

(Largo, Fl) Children of God for Life announced today the filing of a shareholder resolution with the Securities and Exchange Commission and PepsiCo on the use of aborted fetal cell line HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney) for the research and development of flavor enhancers for their beverages.

In August 2010, PepsiCo entered into a 4 year agreement with Senomyx for the development of artificial high-potency sweeteners for PepsiCo beverages. Under the contract, PepsiCo is paying $30 million to Senomyx for the research and will subsequently pay royalties on PepsiCo products sold using the Senomyx technology.

When the prolife group wrote both companies requesting they use one of the many non-objectionable and viable cell lines listed in their patents, Senomyx did not respond. PepsiCo did reply however - that this research would produce “great tasting, lower-calorie beverages”.

Appalled by the cavalier response, Children of God for Life launched a massive boycott joined by over two dozen other prolife organizations. The boycott has now grown to include supporters from Australia, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Poland and the UK.Meanwhile, letters from the organization to all PepsiCo Board Members and Senior Management have gone unanswered.

“Shareholders have a right to know the truth about what PepsiCo is doing with their hard-earned savings”, stated Children of God for Life Executive Director, Debi Vinnedge. “PepsiCo’s lack of consideration to the public’s moral sensibilities has only served to fuel the fire and threatens stock values, retirement pensions and investments.”

The PepsiCo shareholder who filed the resolution requested that “the Board of Directors adopt a corporate policy that recognizes human rights and employs ethical standards which do not involve using the remains of aborted human beings in both private and collaborative research and development agreements.”

Ironically, PepsiCo’s own Code of Conduct boasts that they “deal with customers, suppliers, the public and our competitors in an ethical and appropriate manner”.

“There is nothing ethical or appropriate in the way they are exploiting the remains of an innocent aborted child,” noted Vinnedge.

One 12 year old Florida boy who learned of PepsiCo’s research from his mom’s prolife news reports was upset enough to take action himself. At a 40 Days for Life kickoff, Gene spoke passionately to the audience.

“When I found out about this, I was sick to my stomach,” he said. “I decided I wouldn’t let this happen so I came up with a way to boycott Pepsi products called United Schools for Life. This program will attempt to remove all Pepsi products from the schools in our diocese.” Gene hopes to spread his mission through the entire state.

Vinnedge was deeply moved by his initiative and courage.

“We hope that PepsiCo senior management gives serious consideration and heartfelt reflection of what this boy has done", she noted. "Even a child knows this is wrong - God bless him for standing up for the unborn who have no voice of their own!”

Biotech company using aborted fetal cell lines to test its flavor enhancers

(Largo, FL) 'Children of God for Life' is calling on the public to boycott products of major food companies that are partnering with Senomyx, a biotech company that produces artificial flavor enhancers, unless the company stops using aborted fetal cell lines to test their products.

In 2010, the pro-life organization wrote to Senomyx CEO Kent Snyder, pointing out that moral options for testing their food additives could and should be used. But when Senomyx ignored their letter, they wrote to the companies Senomyx listed on their website as "collaborators" warning them of public backlash and threatened boycott. Food giants Pepsico, Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup, Solae and Nestlé are the primary targets of the boycott, though Senomyx boasts other international partners on their website.

Senomyx website states that “The company's key flavor programs focus on the discovery and development of savory, sweet and salt flavor ingredients that are intended to allow for the reduction of MSG, sugar and salt in food and beverage products....Using isolated human taste receptors, we created proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems that provide a biochemical or electronic readout when a flavor ingredient interacts with the receptor.”

Senomyx notes their collaborators provide them research and development funding plus royalties on sales of products using their flavor ingredients.

“What they do not tell the public is that they are using HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors”, stated Debi Vinnedge, Executive Director for 'Children of God for Life', a pro-life watch dog group that has been monitoring the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics for years.

“They could have easily chosen COS (monkey) cells, Chinese Hamster Ovary cells, insect cells or other morally obtained human cells expressing the G protein for taste receptors”, Vinnedge added.

In writing to their collaborators, it took three letters before Nestlé finally admitted the truth about their relationship with Senomyx, noting the cell line was “well established in scientific research".

After hearing Ms Vinnedge speak publicly on the problem, angry consumers began writing the companies. Both Pepsico and Campbell Soup immediately responded.

Shockingly, Pepsico wrote: “We hope you are reassured to learn that our collaboration with Senomyx is strictly limited to creating lower-calorie, great-tasting beverages for consumers. This will help us achieve our commitment to reduce added sugar per serving by 25% in key brands in key markets over the next decade and ultimately help people live healthier lives.”

Campbell Soup was more concerned in their response: “Every effort is made to use the finest ingredients and develop the greatest selection of products, all at a great value. With this in mind, it must be said that the trust we have cultivated and developed over the years with our consumers is not worth compromising to cut costs or increase profit margins.

While Campbell did not state they would change their methods, still their response, gave Vinnedge hope.

“If enough people voice their outrage and intent to boycott these consumer products, it can be highly effective in convincing Senomyx to change their methods”, she noted.

Chicago students stage simultaneous walkouts on Israeli apartheid

On Thursday, November 10, 2011, students and community members staged simultaneous walkouts at two prominent Chicago universities as part of a concerted effort to undermine propagandist attempts to normalize the occupation of Palestine and the systematic violation of human rights law.

At Northwestern University, roughly one third of the audience silently walked out soon after Gil Hoffman, chief political analyst for the Jerusalem Post and an Israeli reserve soldier, began a presentation on "63 Reasons to Like Israel". One week after students walked out of Hoffman's speaking engagement at Wayne State University in Detroit, organizers capitalized on the momentum to remind Hoffman and the event's sponsors that the reality of oppression, apartheid, and humanitarian abuse cannot be ignored.

In response to the walkout, Hoffman generically asserted that the walkout served only to "delegitimize Israel" but still failed to acknowledge any aspect of Israel's illegal activity, including settlement building and adamant rejection of refugee rights.

At the same time, students and community members gathered at DePaul University to strategically disrupt a StandWithUs-sponsored event designed to paint Israel as socially-responsible and its policies towards Palestinians as compliant with international law. The group began by "fact checking" the panel -- a tactic popularized by the growing Occupy movement in which the crowd repeats statements or facts announced by the group's leader, thus amplifying the message (see video above). The demonstration was followed by a walkout and an outdoor teach-in and debriefing.

By the end of the evening, Chicago activists, students, and concerned community members effectively shut down two events that sought to whitewash Israel's discriminatory policies towards the indigenous population of Palestine as necessary components for democracy and peace. For the second time in a matter of days, Hoffman was forced to face the facts he selectively chooses to ignore, and pro-Israel organizations must now deal with the reality that state-sponsored propaganda has no room on America's college campuses. Top soccer team booted from playoffs for strange technicality

One of the best girls soccer teams in Western New York, and possibly the state, will not get to participate in the forthcoming regional playoffs. While one might assume the reason for such a ban would be related to poor conduct on or off the field, the Holland (N.Y.) High girls soccer team had no such issues.

As it is, members of the Holland team are allegedly more likely to be found in a voluntary study hall than drinking or getting in trouble on the weekends -- no members of the team have spent any part of any school day in detention -- and the squad somehow completed an entire regular season without picking up a single yellow card.

Yet, despite all those positives and Holland's impressive 15-2 record, the Dutchwomen won't be playing in the regional playoffs for a rather odd and almost indefensible reason: They played in one game too many.

Yes, you read that right: New York state officials are refusing to allow Holland to compete in any level of the state playoffs because the Dutchwomen played in 17 games. According to the Buffalo News and Buffalo NBC affiliate WGRZ, 2-year-old state regulations call for teams to play only 16 games or fewer in their regular season, and any team which goes beyond those restrictions is deemed ineligible for state competition.

The move to restrict all varsity schedules to 16 games came as a pure cost-cutting measure by New York state officials, so Holland's scheduling of 17 games did little beyond offend the fiscal sensibilities of state athletics administrators.

There is no question that Holland played in a game too many, but the mistake was chalked up to unfortunate oversights by members of the Holland High School athletic department. When the school's athletic department then petitioned the New York State Public High School Athletic Association to overturn the Dutchwomen's postseason ban, that appeal was summarily denied in a teleconference on Tuesday. While a Facebook page set up by supporters of the team has gained nearly 1,000 "likes," that couldn't help sway state officials.

Intentions notwithstanding, the end result of the drawn out and bizarre saga is that one of the genuine contenders to emerge from New York's Section VI will instead have to sit and watch the playoffs from the stands, even though the team members themselves did absolutely nothing wrong.

Unsurprisingly, that decision has left the players bewildered, frustrated and hurt. "We don't blame anyone, we just want to play," Holland player Candis Kapuscinski told WGRZ.

"I can't express how much I want to play with them and take this to the state finals," fellow Dutchwomen Katherine Shanahan told the NBC affiliate.
